Mathieu Boily

Neurodiversity Consultant

Motivation

Transmitting up-to-date knowledge with passion: this is the mission Mathieu Boily has set for himself.

Mathieu Boily has built an entire career around inclusion and neurodiversity. What began in 2003 as a support worker at a respite camp has developed over more than twenty years into an expertise that bridges frontline work, service coordination, training, consulting, and, since 2021, financial advising specialized in neurodiversity.

For eleven years, he held the position of Service Coordinator at Autisme Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, where he structured intervention teams, developed best practices, and directly supported hundreds of families. Concurrently, he established himself as a trainer, first regionally and then provincially, working with practitioners, managers, community organizations, and businesses.

Today, his independent consulting practice encompasses multiple realities: families navigating a diagnosis, organizations looking to adapt their services, and businesses seeking to better welcome their neurodivergent employees. He also collaborates with Bleuet Atypique as a consultant, contributing to the development of specialized neurodiversity training content.

Co-author of two published guides, Je suis autiste et je travaille and J’ai embauché une personne autiste, Mathieu brings a dimension to his work that few professionals in the field can claim: he is autistic himself, and the father of two autistic children. This reality informs his perspective, his way of listening, and how he approaches every situation—whether he is working with a family in crisis, an organization undergoing transformation, or a business striving to do better.
